IN BRIEF: Bolivia awards hydrocarbons databank contract

Bolivia's state hydrocarbons company YPFB awarded a contract to implement a databank to organize information to optimize hydrocarbons E&P.

The contractor will be required to implement two principal and one alternate visualization rooms, among other components.

Schlumberger picked up the 720-day contract with an offer of 50mn bolivianos (US$7mn), according to YPFB's award report. Halliburton was the other bidder.
