Colombia's hydrocarbons regulator ANH has qualified an initial 47 groups for the Ronda Colombia 2012 E&P round.
The qualifiers are Petróleos Sudamericanos, ONGC Videsh, Repsol Exploración, Hocol, BC Exploración y Producción de Hidrocarburos, Anadarko, Ecopetrol, Tecpetrol, EOG Resources, Lewis Energy, ConocoPhillips, Perenco, Statoil, Shell Exploration and Production, Total E&P, Pluspetrol, OGX Petróleo e Gás, Grupo C&C Energy, Equión, Pacific Rubiales/Metapetroleum, Vetra Exploración y Producción, YPF, Mansarovar Energy, SK Innovation, Cepsa, Consorcio Andes Energía-Integra Oil & Gas, Parex Resources, Gran Tierra Energy, Amerisur Exploración, Plains Exploration & Production, Enap Sipetrol, Ismocol, Canacol Energy, Emerald Energy, Petrobras, Petróleos del Norte, Harvest Natural Resources, Petrobell, Talisman, Clean Energy-Cerex, Petrominerales, Geoproduction Oil and Gas, Winchester Oil and Gas-Hupecol Operating, Winchester Oil and Gas, and Gulfsands Petroleum.
The following groups have until October 2 to clear up pending qualification issues: Chevron Petroleum, Vinccler, Nexen Petroleum, Heritage Oil & Gas-Petroleum Equipment International, Petróleos de Portugal, Joshi Technologies International, Niko Resources, Seplat Petroleum Develop and Consorcio Optoma Oil-Range.
A total of 102 onshore and 13 offshore blocks are on offer, of which 33 contain some form of unconventional hydrocarbon resource potential.
A definitive qualifiers list is due out October 3 with offers due October 17. ANH aims to award areas November 26 and to sign contracts by December 21.
