Latin America represented 26% of engineering and construction company Técnicas Reunidas's 8.787bn euro (US$10.912bn) backlog in the first nine months.
The Middle East accounted for 23%, Europe 20% and rest of the world 31%, according to a company presentation.

"We're back in Mexico with the right customer, in the right time and with the right product," he added.
Técnica Reunidas' backlog includes modernization of Peru's Talara refinery; work at Bolivian refineries in Cochabamba and Santa Cruz, and upstream/gas projects Margarita field II and Gran Chaco; and Venezuela's offshore Perla development.
