The director of the Ministry of Petroleum, Frank Coello, started the assembly by greeting the present authorities, informing at the same time that these initiatives will continue to develop more frequently in the different areas of the FPO, taking into account the instruction given by the maximum holder of the oil portfolio, Manuel Quevedo to raise national production.

The Vice President of EyP, Nelson Ferrer, stressed that within the Production Recovery Plan, the Belt contributes more than 60 percent "it has to be a synchronized recovery with the increase of reliability in all our facilities, particularly the Improvers that allow an optimal processing of the crude oil that we are producing, the recovery of the Nation's production goes through the recovery of the Belt ".

Additionally, Ferrer explained that the Ministry of Petroleum, as the governing body of the energy portfolio, comes to contribute "its grain of sand in this difficult situation."

For his part, the deputy minister of Hydrocarbons of the Ministry of Petroleum, Ángel González, stressed that the country has the largest reserves of crude oil on the planet and with the real possibility of recovering operations in the short term.

"Venezuela has the barrels (...) with that commitment in mind we are going to fulfill the important mission of recovering the production to come from the economic, social and political point of view of the difficulties we are facing associated with the economic blockade", asserted González.

With these actions, the Orinoco Oil Belt Executive Direction Hugo Chávez, its Divisions: Ayacucho, Boyacá, Carabobo and Junín together with the FPO Regional Office continue to design strategies to increase crude production by more than 1 million barrels. national, towards the consolidation of Venezuela as a Socialist Energy Power of the 21st century.
