Sapet plans to modify a drill campaign at Peru onshore producing block VII/VI in the northern Talara basin.

According to a supporting technical report (ITS) filed by the company with Senace, the environmental certification service for sustainable investments, 44 development wells and flow lines must be relocated due to the basin's geological and stratographic complexity and rugged topography.

Construction of each well and associated flow lines will cost US$50,000 and US$25,000, respectively.

An ITS is filed when modifications to a project with environmental approval are not expected to cause a significant environmental impact.

Fellow junior operator Olympic submitted an ITS to Senace to expand power generation supply of production facilities at onshore block XIII-A, also in the northwest.

Information from hydrocarbons licensing authority Perúpetro shows that blocks VII/VI and XIII-A produced 3,964b/d and 2,035b/d of crude in February. Total production in the month was 50,266b/d.

In addition, blocks VII/VI and XIII-A produced 88,430m3/d and 365,437m3/d of gas last month, when total gas output was 24.1Mm3/d.
