With the operation of the three gas-fired power plants associated with oil, one in Campo Cuyabeno and two in Sacha Norte and Sacha Central, the state oil company, will contribute to the Interconnected Electricity Oil System (SEIPE) with approximately 15 megawatts of power.

The projects developed in energy matters during 2018, will manage to increase the use of gas associated with oil in a volume of 3.6 million cubic feet, reducing emissions to the environment in a total of 70,000 tons of CO2 and the substitution of 8.7 million of gallons of diesel imported per year.

The production of the state company has been maintained, fulfilling the commitments with the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), and in 2018 will be located at 428 thousand barrels. With the current production of the company, the power required is 271 megawatts (MW), with the use of gas associated with oil, the budget was reduced from USD 431 million to USD 120 million for this item.

Petroamazonas EP through the Energy Efficiency program reduces the burning of gas in lighters, replacing the use of diesel in the electric generation of oil fields and saving economic resources to the State.

Renovation of the infrastructure of Coca Station, Block 7, Payamino

The agenda also included the technical visit to the Coca Station, part of the Payamino Field, Block 7, located in the province of Orellana, where the renovation and modernization of the treatment plant, water reinjection systems and the system were verified. of power oil , with an estimated investment of USD 27.6 million.

Petroamazonas EP carries out a planned process of innovation and renovation of the facilities of the fields where the company operates. This, with the objective of increasing oil production, optimizing costs and guaranteeing an efficient and friendly operation with the environment.

The Coca station receives the production of crude oil from the Payamino, Gasela, Oso, Mono, Lobo and Coca fields. Currently it has an average production of 9,500 barrels of oil per day.

Petroamazonas EP delivered computers to Joya de los Sacha schools

As part of the agenda developed in the province of Orellana, the Minister of Hydrocarbons, Carlos Pérez and the General Manager of Petroamazonas EP, Alex Galárraga, participated in the delivery of 18 technological equipment to 16 educational units of the Joya de los Sachas parish, province of Orellana, which benefits approximately 600 students in the sector.
