The CEO of YPFB, Óscar Barriga and the general manager of YPF, Fernando Segovia, were in charge of subscribing the documents during the inauguration of the "1st International Forum of Gas, Petrochemical and Green Fuels Bolivia 2018", an event that takes place in the City of Santa Cruz de la Sierra.

SAN TELMO

San Telmo, with an extension of 97,175 hectares, is located in the department of Tarija (provinces Arce, O'Connory Gran Chaco), has a potential of 3.3 trillion cubic feet (TCF) of natural gas and 145 million barrels (MMBbl ) of condensate .

"In the area there is 2D seismic information of regular quality (233 kilometers) of which 145 kilometers were acquired in the 2017 management. There is only one exploratory well in the area (CCH-X1) that did not penetrate the deep targets of Huamampampa , Icla and Santa Rosa ", reads the signed document.

GREEN MOUNT

The Monte Verde area is located in the Non-Traditional Zone, in the department of Santa Cruz , in the Chiquitos and Cordillera provinces, has an area of 381,250 hectares, includes the area surrounding the Tita-Techi fields.

In the area there is 2D seismic information of good quality (1,794 Km), there are six wells drilled Raquel, Anna, Sonia. Sharon, Águila and Monte Verde with significant presence of gas and oil (oil & gas shows).

The main objectives are Carboniferous and Upper Devonian age levels. The resource estimation scenario is in the evaluation stage, considering the moforfoestructual characteristics of the plain.

The aim is to look for structural and stratigraphic traps, with conventional and non-conventional resources.

ABAPÓ

According to the hydrocarbon evaluation carried out by YPF Argentina, the calculated resources amount to 1.18TCF of gas. The main objectives of the project are the sandstones of the Huamampampa formation of lower Devonian age, at a depth of 6,000 meters.

In the area there are surface geological maps, 2D seismic information (140 kilometers) registered by the YPFB brigades between 1976 and 1988. There are five wells, four of them named Abapó and the last Corralones X1. It has an area of 63,750 hectares. It is north of Charagua, Santa Cruz , Subandino Sur, Non Traditional Zone.
