A group of Peruvian lawmakers has introduced a bill to congress to strengthen power distributors controlled by state business financing fund Fonafe to improve the companies' market competitiveness.
The legislators of the Alianza Para el Progreso party seek more streamlined administrative processes, distribution of net profits into projects and participation across the entire sector chain, with local or foreign groups, according to the proposed legislation.
