Ammonia and urea production in the first half in Trinidad & Tobago totaled 2.91Mt and 358,630t respectively, up 9.89% and 12.8% from 1H09, according to statistics released by the energy and energy industries ministry.
In January-June, 2.74Mt of ammonia was exported, a 14.5% rise from 2.40Mt in the first half of 2009. Urea exports were up slightly to 338,534t in 1H10 from 336,977t.
Methanol output in the first six months increased 1.02% to 2.94Mt from 2.91Mt in January-June 2009.
Exports declined in the period, by 3.01% to 2.97Mt from 3.06Mt.
