Brief: Brazil's president opens way for Eletrobras' privatization

Brazil's President Michel Temer signed a provisional measure overturning the ban on privatizing state-run electric holding company Eletrobras and its subsidiaries Furnas, Chesf, Eletronorte, Eletrosul and CGTEE.

The move opens the way for the privatization process of Eletrobras, currently under analysis by the federal government.
