Peru's private investment development agency ProInversión has launched a tender to find a consultant to support the agency in structuring and promoting the US$110mn Provisur concession, a statement from the agency said.
The Provisur project entails designing, financing and constructing the infrastructure needed to expand and improve water, sewerage and water treatment services in the districts of Punta Hermosa, Punta Negra, San Bartolo and Santa María del Mar, in southern Lima, according to the official tender documents published on ProInversión's website.
Initially proposed by British company Biwater, ProInversión has been reviewing the concession for months after a first tender was canceled in 2012 following a veto by sanitation authority Sunass, which stated that the project was oversized. A bidding process for the latest version of the project was launched back in January.
Parties interested in the consultancy tender have until April 5 to present their bids. For the tender's full agenda follow this link
