Brazilian data center solutions provider Aceco TI is currently working on some 50 data center projects across Latin America, Carlos Morard, Aceco TI's president for the region, told BNamericas.
"All these projects are in different stages of development. Each project is executed in 5-9 months," Morard said.
The company has already completed a total of 84 data center projects across the region. "Six of these projects are mega data centers. The rest are large, medium or small data centers," he said.
Morard also said that Aceco TI expects its revenues to expand 35-40% this year compared with 2010. Last year, the company's revenues grew 35%, he added, without providing hard figures.
The company's three major markets in Latin America - Brazil, Argentina and Mexico - represent some 80% of revenues.
Morard also said the company is seeing many opportunities in the government segment throughout the region. This segment accounts for around 55% of Aceco TI's overall revenues, with corporate projects representing the remainder.
In Latin America, the company has presence in Argentina, Chile and Peru.
