The Americas accounted for 56% of US company Tibco Software's global revenues in its fiscal fourth quarter, ended November 30, up 20% year-on-year, company COO Murray Rode said during a conference call with investors.
The EMEA region accounted for 35% of total revenues, while Asia-Pacific brought in the remainder.
The company posted a US$51.9mn net profit for the quarter, compared to US$37.5mn a year ago, the company said in its earnings statement.
Revenues totaled US$289mn, compared to US$241mn in the year-ago period.
From a vertical market perspective, the main contributors were financial services, telecommunications, government, energy, manufacturing and logistics.
Tibco expects total revenue for the coming quarter to be in the range of US$220mn-225mn, company CFO Sydney Carey said.
Headquartered in Palo Alto, California, Tibco serves more than 3,000 customers around the world with offices in over 20 countries. In Latin America, the firm has offices in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Mexico City.
