US IT company Dell hired Jorge Moncau as director for the area of products to end-customers in Latin America, the company reported.

Prior to this appointment, Moncau had a brief five-month working experience at Asus' PC division. In the previous six years he worked as Lenovo's product manager for LatAm.

Dell has been doing well in Latin America, particularly in certain markets. In May, the company became the leader in PC sales in Brazil, a position it has since managed to retain, according to consultancy IDC.
