Regional contact center service providers Approach Technologies and TecnoVoz have begun operations in Colombia, focused on the consolidation and development of the country's contact center industry and BPO, according to a press release.
According to Approach Technologies, the rise in contact centers lured the company to Colombia. CEO Jorge Amad said interest has developed among foreign investors as they see the opportunity to expand operations to Colombia, turning the country into a regional power in exporting services.
TecnoVoz general manager Gerardo Andreucci said business intelligence is the company's future product. According to the executive, the new challenge is turning clients' data into useful information for businesses.
The group arrives in Colombia on the tails of TecnoVoz's receiving the Growth Leadership Award from Frost & Sullivan for its consolidation process in the Latin American market for the medium-size contact centers segment.
Approach Technologies has operations in the Caribbean and Central America, such as in Mexico, Venezuela and Puerto Rico. The company has closed agreements with corporate clients including Pemex, Telmark, Mapfre Seguros and Stanhome.
