Franco-Dutch IT company Atos (formerly Atos Origin) expects its revenues in Argentina to reach some US$110mn this year, climbing 15%, Atos Argentina CEO Juan Dabusti told BNamericas. The company expects revenues for the second half of the year to reach some US$60mn. Dabusti said about 45% of the firm's revenues this year will come from the Hi-Tech Transactional Services (HTTS) segment, which is Atos' core business. Some 25% of revenues will come from the system integration segment, and management and technical services will account for the remainder. Manufacturing, energy and automotive are the three verticals where Atos is experiencing significant growth, the executive noted. With 70-80 clients in the country, the company is increasing penetration in the public sector through national-level projects with tax agency Afip. Last July, Atos shareholders approved the acquisition of Siemens IT Solutions and Services. The acquisition will double Atos' storage capacity and processes for cloud computing, with now more than 30 worldwide data centers, 900,000 SAP users and 90,000 global servers. Dabusti said that in 2012, both Atos Argentina and Siemens IT Solutions Argentina will move to unified headquarters in capital Buenos Aires.
