Authorities reach agreement with ZTE

Panamanian authority for government innovation AIG has reached an MOU agreement with Chinese telecoms equipment manufacturer ZTE, the government said in a statement.

The agreement looks to exchange knowledge in IT to boost competitiveness in the country and promote modernization of the state.

It includes education promotion and training in several areas such as e-government, ICT solutions, infrastructure and data networks systems, public security systems, migration and video surveillance.
