Indian software firm Bhasinsoft expects to enter the Latin American market in the short term in association with local business partners, company director Ankur Bhasin told BNamericas.
"We are starting to look for partners in Argentina and Ecuador," Bhasin said. "We plan to initially target these two markets and we may go to other markets through our future partners in the two countries," Bhasin said. The search will be for providers that have national coverage.
Bhasin said that once the search for partners in Ecuador and Argentina is completed, the company may seek partners in other markets.
The executive recently visited Argentina's capital Buenos Aires during a business trip organized by the electronics and computer software export promotion council of India.
Bhasinsoft has three business units, namely software development, mobile applications and animation, the executive said.
In the software segment, where Bhasinsoft focuses on ERP development and e-commerce solutions, the company also has presence in Germany, France and the US, the executive said. "Once we develop our Latin American buisness we believe that the region could be a significant contributor to our overalll revenues."
