Blackbaud opens offices in Mexico City

Technology provider to nonprofits Blackbaud (Nasdaq: BLKB) has opened an office in Mexico City and reached a reseller agreement with local IT provider Exite.TI, the former said in a statement.

According to Blackbaud's Latin American business development manager, Fernando Ferreira, the company is investing to grow its presence in the region with a new office and a dedicated team to serve existing customers. Exite.TI will be the official reseller of Blackbaud products in the region.

Blackbaud has been investing in Latin America since the introduction of eTapestry Español, its first Spanish-language software, in 2010.

With this new partnership, Exite.TI will handle the sales and support of Blackbaud products in Mexico, including eTapestry Español, a web-delivered Spanish-language fundraising and CRM solution designed for small to midsize nonprofits to help them fundraise and manage relationships with their constituents.
