Brazilian operation set to represent 80% of Interaxa's revenues this year

Argentine contact center solutions integrator Interaxa expects its Brazilian operation to account for approximately 80% of the firm's revenues this year, company regional sales manager Adrían Páez told BNamericas.

The firm's Argentina and Colombian operations account for the remaining 20%, Páez said.

Revenues will grow approximately 25% this year compared to 2010, the executive said without providing hard figures. Revenues for next year are forecast to expand 10-15%.

Commenting on the company's regional expansion plan, Páez said that Interaxa expects to launch operations in Chile and Peru within the next two years, and "we're studying whether to acquire a company in these markets or to open an office."

Headquartered in Buenos Aires, Interaxa has field offices in Bogotá and São Paulo.

Interaxa's client base currently stands at approximately 15 companies. "Our customer base expands approximately 15-20% each year," Páez added.

Among the company's clients are Banco Hipotecario, Cablevisión, Banco Santander Rio, Banco Patagonia, Redecard, Nextel Brasil and Nextel Argentina.

Interaxa integrates solutions from vendors such as Genesys, Nice, Aspect Software and Altitude.
