Channel growth, emerging markets fuel SugarCRM's Q3 billings

Key and emerging markets drove open source CRM software provider SugarCRM's 69% billing growth in the third quarter of 2011 over the same period last year, the company said in a statement without reporting hard numbers.

Continuing with an upward trend, California-based SugarCRM posted a 111% year-over-year jump in Latin American sales.

In addition, the company expanded its channel network during the quarter with 38 new partners, bringing the worldwide total to 343.

SugarCRM also saw a strong flow of new business, with more than 2,800 new customers over the last 12 months. New customer wins include tgestiona, a division of Telefónica Argentina.

SugarCRM provides on-site and cloud computing services worldwide. The company's partner network provides coverage throughout Latin America.
