Friday, December 2, 2011

Brazilian industrial sector association CNI has partnered with Google's (Nasdaq: GOOG) Conecte Seu Negócio program to encourage small-scale entrepreneurs to take advantage of the internet's benefits to sell their products and services, state news agency Agência Brasil reported.

The partnership is expected to have a direct benefit for micro and small entrepreneurs, which represent 97% of the 600,000 companies registered in total.

According to project coordinator Uirá Menezes, small entrepreneurs are still resisting doing business online. After the first contract, the idea is that they keep doing business on the network.
