Argentina's Córdoba province, along with private entities and local universities, has created a mixed ICT agency called Fundación Córdoba TIC, the provincial government said in a statement.
The agency looks to position the province as one of the top five providers of innovative and quality ICT solutions in the world in the next decade.
Under the center's action plan, Córdoba's ICT industry is expected to move 4bn pesos (US$953mn) by 2020, and to export 1.6bn pesos as well as create 35,000 jobs.
The province's public sector will contribute 40% of the plan's annual budget, while the rest will come from private companies and universities based in Córdoba.
