French software provider Dassault Systemes reported revenues in the Americas of nearly 113mn euros (US$168mn) for the first quarter of 2011, up 22% compared with 91.7mn euros posted in 1Q10, according to results released by the company.
Global revenues hit 409mn euros, up 31% year-on-year, while total net income for Q1 was 63.9mn euros, jumping 68.8% from 37.8mn euros in same period last year.
According to the company, business trends and recent acquisitions will offset the impact on revenues that might arise as a consequence of the earthquake in Japan.
