US storage solutions supplier EMC's (NYSE: EMC) Latin American consolidated revenue increased 43% year-on-year during 2Q11, the company said in a release without reporting hard numbers.
Revenues for business operations outside of the US grew 25% to US$2.3bn, representing 48% of the company's consolidated Q2 revenue. Sales in the US reached US$2.5bn, a 17% increase year-on- year, representing 52% of consolidated 2Q11 revenue.
EMC's second quarter net profits of US$546mn were up 28% year-on-year.
The storage solution firm expects to exceed 2011 consolidated revenue of US$19.8bn, GAAP EPS of US$1.07 and non-GAAP EPS of US$1.48, said CFO David Goulden.
