Brazilian e-commerce solutions firm Entire TP will invest 300,000 reais (US$179,000) this year to develop its mobile applications for the B2B market, the company said in a statement.
Entire expects 60% of clients to be accessing its e-commerce systems via mobile phones by the close of 2011. Some 35% did so in 2010.
Entire has already spent 200,000 reais on its line of mobile solutions. The expenditures are motivated by growing demand for mobile applications in the corporate market, Entire said.
Entire's customers are concentrated in the pharmaceutical, hospitality, construction and automobile sectors, and the company's solutions are tailored to facilitate purchasing, sales and internal management processes.
The Brazilian B2B e-commerce industry moved 947bn reais (US$566bn) in 2010, 21% more than 2009.
