This is Experian's second acquisition in the Latin American market, after purchasing Brazilian credit information firm Serasa back in 2007. The firm now operates under the Serasa Experian brand.

The deal is subject to regulatory approval and the launching of a delisting tender offer, expected to be completed in the second half of the year.
