G&L sinks US$1.5mn into new technology district facility

Argentine software firm G&L is investing US$1.5mn in a new building in capital Buenos Aires' technology district, the municipal government said in a statement.

The office, with a surface area of 1,530m2 and the possibility of expanding an additional 330m2, will include energy saving and service automation systems.

With this new office, the company will work on software development, testing, outsourcing, training and consulting in methodology and processes, research and development, and business solutions for the financial, retail, telecommunications, government and media verticals.

One of the district's benefits is that all firms that set up shop there will receive a 10-year income tax exemption.

G&L is a privately owned company, with presence in Buenos Aires and Córdoba in Argentina, as well as Uruguay, Puerto Rico, Panama, Spain and the US.
