Globant opens new HQ, plans US$20mn development center investment

Argentine software innovation company Globant expects to invest more than US$20mn to expand existing development centers and train staff next year, the company said in a statement.

The company also expects to create 1,500 new jobs for its development centers in Argentina, Colombia, Uruguay and the US.

The firm opened its new headquarters, which also hosts a development center, in capital Buenos Aires.

Globant is looking to bill US$90mn this year and grow sales 40% in 2012. The company's main markets are the US and the UK, with some 93% of revenues coming from these two countries.

Globant has a portfolio of business solutions ranging from software development and infrastructure management to creative services, including enterprise portals, mobile applications, web-enabling of legacy applications, content management, e-commerce and VoIP.
