UK test data management provider Grid-Tools, in partnership with compatriot IT firm Green Light Technology, has implemented its signature software Datamaker in a "major financial organization" in Latin American, the former announced on its website without naming the client.
With almost 20 years of experience in database DB2/400 iSeries and a network of distributors in Latin America, Green Light Technology has provided companies with technology to secure and modernize complex processes with their iSeries and AS/400 applications.
"Customers have been interested in securing their test and development environments by not using real production data for many years now. This is especially the case for our customers in the finance, banking and insurance sectors. About 85% of these types of organizations in Latin America are using DB2/400," Green Light Technology project manager Jaime Penagos said when the original partnership was announced.
Grid-Tools said full details of the deal would be made public later this year.
