Argentine science and technology minister Lino Barañao held a meeting with IBM (NYSE: IBM) executives to discuss the country's progress in the way of science and technology policies, according to a statement from the ministry.
Headed by IBM Argentina general manager Guillermo Cascio, the delegation of executives came as a part of an immersion program called the global enablement team (GET), with the objective of carrying out a study to identify growth opportunities in Argentina.
The study will be based on public policy priorities in the country. The delegation will carry out interviews with public leaders, academics and private sector representatives.
