IBM to donate programs to improve DF education

IBM (NYSE: IBM) has agreed to donate programs to help better primary and high school-level education in Mexico City (DF), the DF government announced in a release.

IBM will donate its Reading Companion software program to improve English-language programs in Mexico City's high schools, to the benefit of more than 20,000 students.

The tech giant will also donate Little Explorer computer-based learning modules, which will reinforce math, basic science and literacy for more than 2,000 preschool students.
