The Uruguayan government is seeking technological electrical equipment for the national administration of power plants and power transmission.

On behalf of the innovation and research agency (ANII), the government is looking to purchase a bridge for the measurement of partial discharges and a bridge for measurement of capacity and dielectric losses.

The process will be funded with a loan received from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). Bids must be submitted by December 27. Further details can be obtained by writing to uteabast@ute.com.uy.


The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is calling eligible interested firms to bid in Colombian tenders for the acquisition of public security equipment.

Specific requirements on the two processes underway can be found here and here or on the UNDP's Colombian website.

The deadlines are January 12 and January 31, respectively.


The Bolivian ministry of public works, services and housing is looking for GPS and optical equipment for a municipal management improvement program.

The solutions include six total station theodolites (TST), which are optical instruments for surveying and building construction, and three RTK GPS systems.
