Brazilian IT solutions firm Ilegra boosted revenues 50% to 12mn reais (US$7.17mn) in 2010 and foresees 50% growth this year too, the company said in a statement.
International sales, which registered higher-than-expected results, accounted for 32% of Ilegra's overall tally, compared with 22% in 2009. The company initially predicted a 24% share would come from abroad in 2010. Ilegra intends to continue expanding its overseas operations this year, particularly in the US.
Some 12% of Ilegra's business, meanwhile, was linked to SAP solutions in 2010. Ilegra is a SAP partner and offers business management services such as outsourcing, consulting and customization.
Ilegra's main focus in 2011 is building up the firm's workforce and infrastructure in its Sao Paulo unit, which was inaugurated in 2008, as well as generating new business, the company said. The government sector is of particular interest to Ilegra, which has set up special teams to target this vertical in Rio Grande do Sul, Sao Paulo and Brasilia.
Porto Alegre-based Ilegra was founded in 2002. The company's portfolio includes clients from the energy, IT, transportation and retail sectors.
