IN BRIEF: InterCement migrates customer relations platform

InterCement, the cement division of Brazilian group Camargo Corrêa, has tapped German software firm SAP's cloud-based solution for its customer relations management (CRM) platform.

The solution chosen was SAP's Hybris Cloud for Customer (C4C) for customer sales and services. The terms and values of the contract were not disclosed.

In a statement, InterCement's business support VP André Schaeffer said that InterCement had already adopted SAP's management software system, which reportedly facilitates integration. He also said C4C is easily replicated at other subsidiaries.

InterCement operates in eight countries and has 40 plants. It claims to lead the cement markets in Argentina, Portugal, Mozambique and Cape Verde and says it is number two in Brazil and Paraguay.
