Brazil's national telecommunications institute (Inatel) is developing its own operations management system with technology from Brazilian software solutions firm Benner Sistemas, the school of higher learning said in a statement.
Minas Gerais-based Inatel is using Benner's Builder tool to automate academic activities, from enrollment to grading. Inatel also selected separate Benner solutions for human resources, finance and accounting processes.
By the end of 2011, Inatel also will add Benner's business intelligence platform to the fold for carrying out budgeting and controllership functions. Inatel already has saved 250,000 reais (US$149,700) with Benner software.
