Government-owned Russian Technologies and Spanish systems integrator Indra have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to promote joint technology projects, Indra said in a statement.
With this alliance, Indra seeks to promote its presence in Russia's market, as well as in economies where the country has some influence. In the meantime, Russian Technologies will reinforce its position in Europe and Latin America, where the company already operates and Indra has significant presence.
The companies have identified numerous common sectors of activity where they can collaborate - for example, transport and traffic management, healthcare, public administrations, finance, industry, and homeland security and defense.
The agreement is in line with Indra's international market expansion strategy.
The cooperation agreement is the result of bilateral contact established due to the Spain-Russia Dual Year, which propelled relations between the two nations, the statement said without going into further detail.
