Mexican mission-critical services provider Kio Networks has extended its cloud services offering with Business Process as a Service (BPaaS) and an investment of close to US$50mn, the company said in a statement.
The new services will be hosted at the company's recently inaugurated data center in Mexico City, as well as other centers in Querétaro and Santa Fe, and will strengthen Kio's on-demand services.
The investment was earmarked for the data centers and infrastructure for virtualized platforms to support the extended portfolio. The resources are also expected to generate about 100 new jobs.
Kio's Kloud offer also includes infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS) and software as a service (SaaS).
Kio Networks is 100% Mexican owned and was founded in 2001.
