Professional social network LinkedIn Corporation is looking for a chief executive in Brazil for its Portuguese-language service, launched in April last year.
"When we find a chief executive for Brazil, he will help us open an office," Danielle Restivo, LinkedIn's communications director for Canada and Brazil, was quoted as saying by Reuters.
The network has 4mn users in the country, helped by major Brazilian companies like state-run energy major Petrobras (NYSE: PBR), telecoms operator Vivo and local bank Itaú Unibanco (NYSE: ITUB), which have opened pages on the website.
LinkedIn operates in more than 200 countries and has 120mn users.
