International ICT solutions provider Logicalis has acquired Michigan-based IT professional services provider Netarx for up to US$34mn, the companies announced in a statement.
"This move accelerates the development of a 'Business Transformation Service' offering, which combines deep technical knowledge with practical IT business application," said Ian Cook, CEO of Logicalis Group.
Netarx provides services such as managed services and data center, collaboration and infrastructure design solutions to customers throughout the Great Lakes region and Arizona, in the US.
This acquisition enhances Logicalis' managed services capabilities and adds a robust tier 1 service desk, expanding its IT consulting and services business in midwestern US.
The purchase will also provide Netarx clients with access to Logicalis' outsourcing services, cloud computing and data center management solutions across the US.
Since it was founded in 1997, Netarx has grown to achieve annualized revenues of some US$60mn.
Logicalis is an international provider of integrated information and communications technology solutions and services. The company employs nearly 2,500 people worldwide and has more than 5,000 corporate and public sector customers.
Logicalis has partnerships with technology leaders such as Cisco, HP, IBM and Microsoft. The company has annualized revenues of more than US$1bn, from operations in the UK, the US, Germany, South America and Asia-Pacific.
In Latin America, the firm has operations in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay.
