"Twitter has become the agora of technology," said Ricardo Montes, marketing and communications director for Micro Focus in Iberia and Latin America. "The most current information about the industry is born and moves in this network faster than ever, and is absorbed by millions of users that form an engaged audience."

In the same vein, Micro Focus' LinkedIn Spanish site is used to inform users about the company's online events and work opportunities.

"The presence in social networks... is day by day the best way to get business intelligence and to establish contact with clients," said Montes.
