Neoris exploring possibilities for new development centers in Brazil

Bnamericas
Latin American IT consultancy firm Neoris is considering opening new development centers in Brazil's interior, away from the big cities, company CEO Claudio Muruzabal told reporters. To add to the company's current presence in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, "we are looking for other locations and will be announcing this in the future," the executive said. "In emerging markets such as Argentina and Mexico, there are good universities in the provinces but there aren't enough opportunities for graduates in those cities, so they have to move when they graduate" in order to find a job, the executive said. "What we have done is to open development centers in smaller cities in those countries that allow graduates to continue living in their cities," Muruzabal said on the sidelines of SAP's (NYSE: SAP) SAPphire Now conference, being held in Orlando, Florida on May 15-18. Neoris is a global business and IT consulting company that specializes in providing application outsourcing services, solutions and services in support of SAP applications. The firm offers systems integration, custom application development, IT consulting, and software deployment and support solutions. Founded in 2000 and headquartered in Miami, Neoris has operations in the US, Europe, Latin America, Africa and the Middle East, with 20 offices around the globe. In Latin America, Neoris has operations in Mexico, Colombia, Brazil, Chile and Argentina.
