Latin American IT consultancy Neoris plans to consolidate its current operations this year rather than opening new field offices, company CEO Claudio Muruzábal told BNamericas.

"We are in the process of consolidating the operations we already have, and we will invest to expand our existing operations rather than opening new offices in other territories," he said.

The firm has been experiencing revenue growth rates of some 30% in recent years, Muruzábal said, and "this year will not be an exception."

According to Muruzábal, Latin America currently accounts for 50% of Neoris' overall revenues. Neoris is also looking to other markets for growth, such as the US, Europe and the Middle East. "In Europe, we already have consultants living in almost every country," he added.

In Latin America, the company is seeing significant growth in Brazil, where it has more than 850 employees. "Brazil has become a very key growth market for Neoris," the executive said, and the company expects to double the Brazilian operation's size this year.

Other Latin American markets where Neoris is experiencing significant growth are Argentina, Colombia, Chile and Peru, while Mexico is expected to pick up in the second half of this year, he added.

SAP (NYSE: SAP) recently named Neoris as a global services partner. "SAP has 3,000 partners globally, but only 23 partners are global services partners. We are the first Latin American company to achieve this status, and this is a milestone for us," Muruzábal said.

Neoris is a global business and IT consulting company that specializes in providing application outsourcing services, solutions and services in support of SAP applications. The firm offers systems integration, custom application development, IT consulting, and software deployment and support solutions.

Founded in 2000 and headquartered in Miami, Neoris has operations in the US, Europe, Latin America, Africa and the Middle East, with 20 offices around the globe. In Latin America, Neoris has operations in Mexico, Colombia, Brazil, Chile and Argentina.
