Israeli contact center solutions company NICE Systems (Nasdaq: NICE) posted a 32.8% increase in 1Q11 net income of US$8.1mn, compared to US$6.1mn for the same period last year, the company announced.
Revenues for the quarter increased 15.9% to US$185mn, from US$160mn in the first quarter of 2010.
Zeevi Bregman, president and CEO of NICE Systems, highlighted the company's "growth in demand that we are experiencing in emerging markets."
NICE raised its revenue projections for the full fiscal year on non-GAAP revenue to between US$780mn and US$803mn.
