Chilean IT products reseller PC Factory's sales were up 22.3% in 2010, at US$95mn, the company reported in a release.
Despite challenges it faced last year, such as the magnitude-8.8 earthquake in February, PC Factory said it was still able to achieve record figures. In December alone, the company saw sales of US$12mn.
According to PC Factory, the World Cup helped boost sales of products such as LCD televisions, video projectors and audio systems. The company also credited its business strategy for 2010's growth, with the incorporation of new products, advertising campaigns and new stores.
This year, PC Factory expects to continue strengthening its commercial structure, increasing product display areas at points of sales and adding new stores throughout Chile.
