Chile's largest airline, LAN (NYSE: LFL), has signed a contract with Amsterdam-based online payments solutions provider Adyen, the latter said in a statement.

Adyen's solutions give LAN access to alternative payment methods for its clients, including mobile payments. Adyen's platforms support more than 75 local payment methods in Europe, Latin America, the US and Asia.

Under the contract, Adyen will provide LAN with a payment solutions site, designed entirely by the airline and which can be complemented with new local payment methods.

Brazilian IT firm Bematech has resumed its Bematech Software Partners (BSP) program, initially launched in 1997, with a new version, the company said in a statement.

The goal is to strengthen its relationship with its some 3,000 software partners, and to support them in developing new business and revenue generation to meet retail market demands.

The new version of Bematech's BSP includes increased access to training, maintenance and technical support, as well as commercial benefits.

The program will divide partners in two categories - developer partners and solutions partners.


Brazilian IT governance consultancy Kalendae has partnered with Brasília-based corporate governance and ICT solutions provider Intelit, the former said in a release.

The alliance will allow the companies to provide an integral training and consulting portfolio to meet growing IT governance demands in the public sector, according to company executives.

The joint plan also includes expanding the portfolio to the private sector in Brasília.

Kalendae specializes in IT governance, offering solutions to comply with service management best practices such as ITIL, Cobit and ISO. The company has operations in Brazil and Mexico.


US web accelerator and security company Blue Coat Systems' (Nasdaq: BCSI) WAN optimization solution Mach5 has been recognized as networking product of the year in the Techworld awards, the company said in a statement.

The Techworld awards, granted in this year's ceremony in London, recognize innovation within the industry.

Mach5 is a WAN optimization solution that accelerates remote branch office access to files, email, storage and enterprise applications, as well as web, cloud and video applications.
