Critical power and cooling services company APC has appointed Leopoldo Ruiz as commercial director for its Mexican unit, APC said in a statement.

APC, part of multinational firm Schneider Electric, provides data center infrastructure and uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems.

US chip manufacturer AMD (NYSE: AMD) has tapped Nicolás Canovas as senior manager for multinational client development for Spanish-speaking Latin America, the company said in a statement.

In March, AMD announced a new organizational structure for Latin America, splitting its operations into two different regions - Spanish-speaking Latin American countries and Brazil.


The Brazilian unit of Chilean IT systems integrator Sonda has named Ricardo Valente as sales director for SAP licenses, the company said in a statement.

The executive previously worked for SAP (NYSE: SAP).

In Brazil, Sonda has some 1,200 active clients and 31 offices across the country.


Argentine IT chamber Cessi has completely renewed its website, enabling users to share content from social networks including Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn, Cessi said in a statement.

Cessi comprises some 600 software and IT services companies.
