Roundup: Brazil-Russia ICT MoU, Totvs, Construtivo

The ministries of communication of Brazil and Russia inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for cooperation in the area of information and communication technologies (ICT).

According to Brazil's MiniCom, the deal will allow for the sharing of knowledge in the areas of radio frequency management, rural broadband and satellite.

Totvs, Latin America's leader in corporate software, has integrated its Fluig management suite into the platform of digital certificate provider Certisign.

The "mashup" of Fluig's and Certisign's platforms will enable documents and workflow processes to be authenticated via the ICP-Brazil standard.

ICP regulates digital certification in Brazil and is linked to the national institute of information technology (ITI). The value of the deal was not disclosed.

Brazil-based ERP firm Construtivo, focused on the engineering and construction segments, is expanding its operations in Latin America, the company announced in a statement.

According to Construtivo, the move follows the expansion of Brazilian construction multinationals which operate across the region. Among these clients with LatAm footprints are Wobben Enercon, Queiroz Galvão, UHE La Virgen and Andrade Gutierrez.

The company offers its entire portfolio in the cloud, in the software-as-a-service model.
