Czech anti-virus and security software developer Eset has promoted Ignacio Sbampato to global chief sales and marketing officer, the company said in a statement.

Sbampato has worked in Eset for more than six years and most recently served as the company's Latin America CEO.

In related news, Eset tapped Richard Marko as CEO and Juraj Malcho as global chief research officer.

Latin American e-commerce company MercadoLibre (Nasdaq: MELI) has named Federico Procaccini as senior sales and marketing manager for the company's MercadoPago area, MercadoLibre said in a statement.

Prior to joining MercadoLibre, Procaccini worked in companies such as Nike (NYSE: NKE) and Daimler Chrysler.

The executive has a degree in industrial engineering from ITBA and an MBA from the IESE Business School.


The Argentine division of Russian software and IT services company Softline International has tapped Richard Poore as director general, the company said in a statement.

Prior to joining Softline, Poore worked for companies such as Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT) and Unisys (NYSE: UIS).


US software company Adobe (Nasdaq: ADBE) has rolled out its Creative Suite 5 solution in Chile, the company said in a statement.

The solution will be marketed to both students and teachers.
