Argentine software developer Grupo Calipso has appointed Gustavo Pérez as commercial manager for the south of America region, the firm said in a release.
Founded in 1993, Calipso is headquartered in Buenos Aires and has strategic distribution alliances throughout Latin America. The firm provides a range of services, including software development and consulting, and now has more than 600 clients around the region.
Costa Rican university Universidad Latinoamericana de Ciencia y Tecnología has become a member of SAP's university alliances program, SAP said in a statement.
The SAP University Alliances program supports institutions in offering tailored courses and projects to develop qualified graduates.
In Latin America, this SAP program already has seven members.
Ogilvy & Mather Latin America has fully deployed US provider of IT systems management software Kaseya's IT automation framework solution to manage its IT services, improve productivity and lower costs, the latter said in a statement.
Ogilvy & Mather Latin America is part of Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide, one of the largest marketing communications companies in the world.
"With the Kaseya solution, we have been able to develop a successful model to manage the IT services, eliminate costs and optimize our existing resources to achieve our compliance, availability, service, and control goals," Ogilvy & Mather Latin America IT director Manuel Viveros Bremont said.
US IT firm Actuate Corporation (Nasdaq: BIRT) has appointed Brian Mort as VP of international operations, the company said in a statement.
Based at the company's London office and reporting to Actuate CEO Pete Cittadini, Mort will be responsible for growth of license sales, support and services with existing and new customers across EMEA, APAC and Latin America.
Founded in 1993, Actuate is headquartered in San Mateo, California, with offices worldwide.
